Who humped the puffin and why?…and how? and was it crossing when it was humped? and why are there puffins in New Beetwell Street and where is New Beetwell Street? and is it lined with Puffin prossies or some’at?
Geospace, that’s interestingly exactly the same sign. I’m glad somebody else spotted it too.
Further down the street from that one, across the road from the Portand Hotel, there’s a sex shop called Cocktails or something, and by that there is a recently ‘erected’ similar sign describing another humped animal. I believe it’s a Toucan if memory serves me correctly, but I didn’t have my camera with me to record the occasion.
Next time you’re over that way you should take a look.
Will look outfor that – certainly a lot of humping going on. I understand there is a humped Pelican crossing at Gatwick airport and I’ve certainly seen a humped zebra crossing at Woodseats in Sheffield so that just leaves a humped Pegasus crossing to find ! Could be a rarity – apparently Pegasus crossings are more common in Scotland .
Thanks for the comment on Cape town pix – they call their traffic lights robots !
