The other day I was trying to tell someone something I thought about the upcoming state governor’s election and a particular candidate for governor.
“A governor’s candidate,” I called him.
The correct term would be “gubernatorial candidate.”
I don’t understand why you’d substitute a “b” where a “v” typically is, but I suppose it provides a good way [...]
